Description

Before and after he lay horizontal to image in NGC7000, my 8" Newt soaked up some photons from the brighter parts of #EasternVeilNebula, #IC1340 #NGC6995 #NGC6992

Also not rising high for us at -34° South, plus I probably wasn't imaging it at transit at around 21°, so guiding was poor and I had to do some gymnastics to process this one. Hard to believe it had two iterations of morphological transformation and the stars were still overwhelmingly numerous in the traditional version.

Someone in our astro club Facebook page asked to see a starless version. Thought it looked alright.

Have to own up to using a paintbrush to get rid of most of the mess left behind by starnet. Doesn't seem to like working with Newtonian stars?
