Description

Looking towards the core of the galaxy through the Sagittarius spur as seen from the Kalahari desert deep in the heart of Namibia.

A test shot with the Sigma Art 50mm. The only shot i took with it before selling it and purchasing the Sigma Art 40mm (which has vastly superior coma correction). You will notice the batwings are very obvious wide open at f/1.4 on this shot if you inspect it closely.

Imaged during the September equinox 2019 from the Khomas region of Namibia on the Tropic of Capricorn - 23.4 degrees south. Temperatures were around 10c.
