Description

I had a couple of clear nights with a stretch of poor weather following so decided to choose a nice bright object to satisfy my impatience. I imaged the bubble with a much wider view several years ago with an OSC and camera lens. Since then I wanted to revisit to get a closer look at the bubble itself.

This was a pretty straight forward processing for me with one caveat. The Ha signal was so much stronger than Sii and Oiii that I had to linear fit my to Oiii instead of Ha to see any blue color. Generally I fit to the stronger signal, but in this case Ha was just too strong.

This is with my normal Hubble Blend:

R=.4*Ha + .6*Sii

G=.4*Oiii + .3*Ha + .3*Sii

B=Oiii

C&C is welcome.
