Description

The so-called Great Wall is a part of NGC 7000, the North America Nebula. It is a spectacular HII emission region.

I present it here in the classical Hubble Palette (SHO) as well as the "blue-golden" one with elimination of the green tones, as I couldn't decide on one presentation.
As most detail in this region is in the H-alpha, I decided to shoot that with the RC and shoot the O-III and S-II with the Epsilon. That proved to be quite the challenge because I could not easily register the subs to the higher-resolution RC images with PixInsight. In the end, I generated a huge 155MP artificial star field and registered to that. Preprocessing took longer than image acquisition in this case.
