This is a fascinating region of the Taurus Molecular cloud filled with young stars and stars that are still forming, dark nebulae and reflection nebulae, numerous Herbig-Haro objects, and even a distant galaxy (IC 359) peeking through the dust. This area lies about 450 light years away.
