Description

This image was captured on the first clear night in 6 weeks. It's only 1 hour and 20 min of data because of the position of the Eagle Nebula in the sky this time of year.  At the time it gets dark enough to start imaging it's already at the meridian and below 30 degrees the atmosphere that night was rather hazy.
As you will notice by looking at the small stars I wasn't at focus and that my telescope is out of collimation.  The poor atmosphere gave me problems with autofucus and with so few clear night this year I didn't want to take the time to collimate.   I will however have that corrected before I image again.
Also, I have just bought a ZWO ASI 2600MC Pro (Too lazy to go with a Mono camera).  I am still learning how to get the best results.  I imaged in Bortle 2 skies and with poor atmospheric conditions (couldn't autoguide and take more than 2-3 min subs).  This meant I had very low signal.  I wanted to offset that by taking a large number of subs but I don't think that will happen due to few good imaging nights and it's position in the sky.
Bottom line: This is what I got, hope to have better luck next year.  But it did feel good to finally image after so many cloudy nights.
