Description

Quite possibly this will be my last Jupiter image for the 2019 apparition, as Jupiter very rapidly disappears behind my neighbouring apartment building after sundown. It's also heading into the cloudy/rainy season here, which limits the number of clear nights.

Seeing was relatively steady, allowing for an extended (45 min) imaging session with only a couple of captures needing to be rejected due to gusty winds. There was a slight but noticeable decrease in detail over the course of the session ... not entirely convinced this is due to seeing, however, as I've seen this pattern occur reproducibly of late (indicating it is equipment related).

For revisions A and B, I decided to try de-rotating all 23 of the good captures. Each capture was 7,200 frames in total (90s @ 80fps) of which the best 15% were stacked. Thus these images effectively contain just shy of 25,000 frames or around 5 minutes of data.

Revisions C and D are images created by de-rotating a more typical 10 individual stacks towards the end of the session, and so features the GRS more prominently.

Thanks for looking!
