Description

This was captured the evening of October 23, 2024.

I had problems with the horizontal line artifacts in the stack, but this worked reasonably well other than that.

I used Starnet++ on my sub-exposures and stacked the comet separate from the stars.  My exposures were shorter than they needed to be, however.  In order to remove enough stars, I needed to stack in sets.  I was able to stack my subs in sets of 18 exposures (comet aligned) and still have Starnet remove the stars in each of those stacks.  I used the same image as a reference frame in both my comet aligned exposures and my star aligned exposures.  I was able to be certain the comet was in a valid spot in the image relative to the stars.
