Description

Waaaay too little data. This was my first time autoguiding and dithering with my new guide scope and camera on my SkyGuider Pro.

Cygnus is very low on the horizon, and that puts it fully within the LP dome of Lima and especially the refinery. I had to put exposures down to 30 seconds for this reason, but the difference dithering made in the noise was stunning to me. I can't wait to shoot this from a darker site without light pollution or when it's closer to zenith.

Dither or die, no doubt!

I took zero calibration frames for this as it was entirely a night of experimenting with guiding and dithering.
