Description

M109, or the Vacuum Cleaner Galaxy from my Bortle 8 skies.

I have really been working on trying to get better colour in my shots. I also now realize that what looks good on my processing laptop looks terrible on the most expensive monitor in my house. Hopefully the background here appears dark on the machine you are using.

Phecda, a nearby magnitude 2.4 star has flooded the frame with light. Oddly, the subs most impacted were taken once the mount flipped - I can't explain this, except possibly the mount pointed slightly closer to Phecda after flipping.
