Description

Image of Veil Nebula Complex featuring the Eastern Veil (NGC 6992), Western Veil (NGC 6990) and Pickering's Triangle.  The Veil Nebula Complex is located in the Constellation Cygnus and is the visible portion of the Cygnus Loop, and supernova remnant.  It is estimated to be 2400 LY distant.  The complex emits predominantly  in OIII and Ha wavelength bands.
Imaging was conducted in backyard, under Bortle Class 7 Light conditions, in 11 sessions from July 15 to August 4, 2021.

Ha:  178 x 300 sec.  (14.8 hrs)
Oii:  157 x 300 sec. (13.1 hrs)
Darks:  21 ea.
Flats: 60 ea. per Filter
Bias: 200 ea.
