Description

The night after imaging M1 Crab Nebula the seeing appeared to be poor with a visible thin layer of clouds so I planned on taking some calibration frames. I was setup from the previous evening for DSO with a focal reducer, my ASI2600mm, and ASIAIR instead of my laptop.  But, just for fun I decided to have a look at the moon, and it appeared steady.  The "seeing" was surprisingly not that bad.   So, I did a short video: 264 sec, using the ASIAIR video mode in 1920 x 1080 mode with exposure set to .001 sec and gain set to 382, used the red filter from my RGB set,   camera cooled -20C, outside temperature was around 7 C.  With those settings I was getting around 10 FPS.   I kept around 1200 frames or about half.
