Description

This object, also known as PK141-7.1, is a rarely imaged very faint planetary nebula located 5400 light years away in the constellation of Perseus at a declination of +50 degrees. This PN spans 2.5 arc-minutes in our apparent view, which corresponds to a diameter of 4 light years.

I imaged OIII for this object but there is little present. I do not see a central star for this object. So this is an unusual PN, with no central star and little OIII. I don't recall imaging another like it. But I think it is a PN and not a HII region, because of its oval and banded shape.
