Description

M106

This has been giving me lots of grief - my pictures turned up too blue. (3.5 times as much blue as normal) - i foudn that using my MasterBias file (from my library) made it so the final image was 100x more blue than any other colour and made it unprocessable.

I stopped using the master bias and i managed to get this picture.

I am going to do this processing again when i have taken a new set of calibration frames

Description: I did this picture by forgoing darks as part of flat or light calibration as they totally messed things up.
I think i have found out what my technical problem with the ASI294MC was though and why it was recording too much blue. I had changed windows user account and i did not re-install the ASI drivers - APT still worked which is why i did not think anything of it. I have re-installed the drivers and i created a few darks during the day which seemed to have decent colour balance (although with lots of light leaks as i can't take darks during the day no matter how much i cover up scope)
Tonight is a the big test though and i will be seeing if camera behaves itself. Things will be slightly impaired by the moon - but not enough to see if the camera is working ok.
