Description

Captured the M57 Ring Nebula while testing new polar alignment camera and software on iOptron Skytracker Pro using Canon 6D and 200mm fix lens at f/3.2. 13 subs at iso1600 x 60s and 20 subs at iso640 x 120s. A very small object - at only 1.4x1.0 arc-minutes - for this 200mm setup especially for focusing and to get any detail. Processing including stacking with Pixinsight and final light processing with Photoshop (have clipped a little the black to further bring out the nebula).
