Description

NGC 1760 is the brightest emission nebula of the Large Magellanic Cloud in the constellation of Dorado.NGC 1760 complex is the second-largest emission nebula (the largest is the Tarantula Nebula) covers approximately 6 arc-minutes (unit of angular measurement equal to 1/60 of one degree) across. It has an elliptical shape and consists of a large bubble, generally clear interstellar area, surrounded by nine large nebulae. Its name was given by Karl Henize in 1956.

This is my first serious attempt at narrowband imaging. So much more data and detail per sub and then the combined channels, I found processing more of a challenge as just so many more options and directions you can go in. And much more fun of course!
