Description

I know all of you have gotten in deep on the adapters.

I had been using the Stellarvue Reducer/Flattener in the 2 inch grabber thingy, but that isnt a long term solution, and making it level was a challenge.

It was actually a tough decision. Spend 65 bucks on a little piece of metal, or just go Full Feathertouch with that Boss focuser, like James Brown so eloquently sang, you gotta pay the cost to be the boss, and look at me, imma bad mother, and what not, but 2000 bucks seemed a little pricey, and I mean the HEX focuser is okay, it works, and I also don't want to put some plastic child's toy focuser on it and waste the money. It also seemed a little strange spending the same amount on the focuser as I did the telescope (Scotty gave me a deal). But maybe one of you can convince me to get the Pegasus Astro focuser or something like that.

On a side note, the Losmandy Tripod Ears are on their way. Since I got the much more beautiful Stellarvue tripod, it didn't come with the hooks for the mount's electronics.

Super hero and national park stickers will soon cover it (hopefully) and I went ahead and ordered the Optolong L Enhance and will try to get the most out of my OSC before going mono. Seriously though, can one non Chinese company make a freaking quality CMOS camera. I just cant understand why Atik chose the sensors they did for their Acis line for Starlight Xpress or SBIG. Hopefully the new filter will keep me patient. I would have bought the made in USA Optcorp Radian Triad, but Opt sold me a camera that didnt work (literally would not even turn on) and then charged me a restocking fee when I returned it, but they did save 20 bucks at the expense of every purchase I have made since.

Lastly. Before I forget, I don't know astronomy software much, okay, not at all, but Hyperion Prism is super cool, and u can download it directly from Hyperion website and u automatically get an 80 day free trial. I really like it. Photos taken from my buddies house in the country.

Gosh my star friends, I am going to go broke buying stuff waiting around for clear skies.
