Description

C/2022 E3 (ZTF)  was discovered by astronomers Bryce Bolin and Frank Masci using the Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF) survey on 2 March 2022. Upon discovery, the comet had an apparent magnitude of 17.3 and was about 4.3 AU (640 million km; 400 million mi) from the Sun." Wikipedia

This image was taken immediately after the Dolphin Head nebula imaging run finished up with just a quick repositioning/pointing of the scope and filter swap/re-focus. (swapped in a Optolog L-pro in place of the Askar color magic dual band D1 used for the nebula)

This is only my second time shooting a comet,  last one was about 15 years ago using a DSLR.  (I'll have to dig that shot up and post as well at some point.)  This one was definitely a lot greener then the last one!
