Description

α Cam interesting facts:

- α Cam is not the brightest star in the Camelopardalis constellation

- The α Cam is a runaway star and moves between 680 and 4200 km/s

- star escape is driven by a gravity of a nearby star cluster or a supernova explosion

- apparently around the star there is a reflection nebula stretching over 29 parsecs, which no one has recorded convincingly ;)

- α Cam is also responsible for creating the bubble in the surrounding interstellar medium, thus dispersing the cloud itself
