Description

Testing a new setup and location, conditions were marginal with a first quarter moon still up in the west, some marine haze hanging over the south, and only about 30 miles from NYC.

The horizontal bluish and reddish bands are artifacts from the marine haze. While this region has some very nice colors, that's not what you're seeing in this image.

Overall, it was a successful test for a quick trip, and hopefully during the next new moon, I'll be able to get better images under better conditions.
