Spent three nights last week gathering data for this one. I also wanted to compare the results my L-extreme and Antlia ALP-T filters while everything is the same. Overall I think I like the Antlia a little better. The stars bloated just a little less and the halos around bright stars are significantly reduced to the point where I don't notice them.

The details:
Scope : Orion EON 85mm ED-X2 with StellaMira 0.6x reducer/flattener (effective FL 336mm)
Camera: ASI533MC Pro
Mount: iOptron CEM70EC
Filters: Antlia ALP-T and Optolong L-Extreme
Acq: 60 x 300s (ALP-T), 60 x 300s (L-extreme), 150x120s (ALP-T)

Post Processing:
Pixinsight:
BackgroundNeutralization; MaskedStretch; StarNet2
Stars: CT - Increase Saturation, Increase luminance of small stars
Starless: HT - Adjust Black Level; CT - increase saturation, luminance, contrast
Export Starless Image and run topaz denoise on it. Import denoised image back into PI (If I run TP Denoise on final image it screws up the stars)

Title: Working on refining my star processing

Description: I adjusted my colors a bit and then spent some time working on my stars. The stars in my original image were bloated and simple PI star reduction tool eats the small stars. For this star reduction, I split my image using StarXterminator.
I then split my star image into it's RGB components. Using LRGB combo, I used the R channel for my L layer and recombined. I then ran deconvolution on the resultant star image. Final step was to use PixelMath to recombine star and starless image.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
Promotions by Reviewers When 3 distinct Reviewers promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for IOTD status.
Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
