Report "invalid data"

15 Nov, 2018 09:27
I noticed some people entered (or however it happened) wrong information in description of their gear. For example i noticed 8" SCT with 80/600 in description or 12" RC with 80mm aperture and when you search for images of 80mm scopes it will wrongly show you these.

So would it be possible to implement some "report" button that would flag these and exclude them from search until it's corrected? It could notify the user or some moderators or whoever that would take care of those invalid information. Maybe i'm too strict but i guess we all want data to be consistent.

Hi Tom,
at some point hopefully in the first half of next year, that won't be necessary anymore, as I will redesign the equipment database and make it so that only approved items can be added to images, displayed and searched.

That would be really, really great, Salvatore. I renew my offer i made in another thread: If there is help needed to approve items, rename or categorize them i volunteer :-)
