I forgot to mention that two days ago, on November 27th, was AstroBin's 8th birthday!

This is the first ever source code commit: https://github.com/astrobin/astrobin/commit/49f243887ca0ccedef765e05e3de4aad475b4b3d

It's been a LOT of crazy late nights after work and weekends, and things got more difficult when I had children, but AstroBin is going stronger than ever!

Thank you all who make this possible! (and perhaps me a little bit  smile )

PS: do you know Python/Django/Celery/Postgres/Docker and want to help? Get in touch!

Happy belated Astrobin birthday! Crazy to think I've been here for just over half of that!

I would contribute code if I had time. I know all of those except Celery (although I plan to try it again someday). Unfortunately, university has been an exceptional time sink and has even stopped me from processing data from months ago.

Happy birthday Astrobin!

In my part of the scientific world, python and git are not that popular, but lately I'm into python/numpy and I'm trying to learn git for my own pleasure smile

Cheers!
