I agree

Can non-submitters "bump" an image for consideration as a Top Pick?

I hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes, but yesterday I saw Sergey Trudolyubov's Cassiopeia A (Cas A) Supernova Remnant and was just absolutely blown away. It's an outstanding image that I feel deserves special recognition. I know the submitters can't be expected to see everything (and I know this is all totally subjective anyway) but I was wondering if there could be a way for normal users to nominate exceptional images like these so that they don't fall through the cracks in the future. (Apologies to Sergey, whom I haven't had a chance to talk to yet - hope I'm not stepping on your toes either.)

Hi Chris,
unfortunately the system does not support that at the moment. However, at the end of the year there will be new call for volunteers to join the IOTD staff, so that will be a chance for you to help! smile

Okay, keep me in mind then. Thanks for responding, Salvatore!
