I realise that probably whoever is marking AstroBin email notifications as spam is not reading this, but there's a chance because some of them are paying members.|
Anyway, this is a reminder that at any time you can modify your email notification preferences using the handy link that is provided in every email that AstroBin sends you.
Unfortunately some chaps added a filter to automatically mark AstroBin emails as spam on their email client, and that caused Amazon to put AstroBin email account under investigation…
Luckily I now implemented a hook so that once you mark an email as spam, you won't receive anymore emails, so the problem should go away.
Still, it was quite disappointing :-)
Clear skies to everyone!

The same issue may be impacting Yahoo email, since I have stopped receiving any Astrobin email notifications as of yesterday.

in the next few days I will add a way to let the users resume their emails. Meanwhile, please make sure that you don't have an automated filter that marks all of them as spam, and it was just a one-time misclick.

|Sorry Salvatore. I am one of these "chaps". The amount of nearly 1000 emails per month, was just to high to handle anymore. Never mentioned that this will cause some trouble to astrobin.|

|Now filter disabled…|

I checked my spam folder - nothing in there from Astrobin. Just lots of messages from people who are eager to hookup with me, whatever that means.

Same thing that happened to Gary has happened to me. No notifications and nothing in spam except Gary's people want to hookup with me now.|
- Cheers Kurt
