Hoping to see some great images of Mercury transit on Monday, unfortunately I have to work and will miss it! But I hope there are plenty of good images to see!

I have holidays on this day - took this especially for the transit. I hope to see some holes in the clouds so that i can take a few photos. But the weather is really not good these days over here, so wish me luck smile
If i'm gonna have the chance to image, i will take my RC with the CCDT67 and the ASI294. This will lead to a perfect fov for the whole sun. If there will be no clouds for a longer period i will change the Reducer to a 2.5 Barlow for a closeup. Everything using the solar continuum. *fingers crossed*

The transit won't be visible in Japan, so I am counting on you :-)

Time is also not ideal here - starting at 13:30 local time, the sun will be very low. And at the moment we have high clouds passing through. Does not look ideal. But i am sure that somewhere in the sweetspot of this transit sits a fellow astroimager and will post their images here :-)

I also took a days holiday to see it. Fortunately the weather did not let us down and we got to see some great views of the transit. Well worth the day off!

Yes, i was also lucky and had the opportunity to take some images. I could even see Mercury through my little Lunt Sunoculars 8x32! That was amazing.
