I am in the process of capturing M45 and when I did my integration to see what kind of data I had so far. As I did my integration process I notice two defects and from the integrations the two objects showed up like small lines. When I did the blink process the two objects did move and I am wondering since I can't get a hit on annotated if these are Asteroids. I was wondering if there is a site that I could cross reference my photo to see which ones they are.

Hi Chris,
I think there's a little program, called Astrometrica. As I know, it should be able to give at least some idea what these may be. Never used it myself though.

That should settle you through: https://cgi.minorplanetcenter.net/cgi-bin/checkmp.cgi
Additionally Sky Charts can give you a graphical match.
Astrometrica isn't easy to deal with and is at cost.

M45 I captured the same things! On 10.8 and 10.10. I was planning on posting it later today or tomorrow to ask the same question. I’ll have subs posted by then hopefully. I’m looking forward to getting and answer on this one!

Astrometrica isn't easy to deal with and is at cost. @andrea tasselli I had a go at the link you posted and came up with two asteroids that were in the area at that time; 793 Arizona (discovered by Percival Lowell) and 2005 VZ12. Someone with more skills may want to pull out their ephemerides and confirm this

I have Starry Night Pro 8, and indeed the faint one is 793 Arizona, but the bright one is 796 Sarita. @Richard Smith I don't have 2005VZ12 in my database and cannot confirm that one

Thanks all for all of the advice, I to have confirmed that they are asteroids already discovered. Oh well, but I think it was pretty cool to have had captured them.
