Excuse me English, I use google.
Will it be useful to mount a 2x barlow and still be able to
Take DSO pictures?
It is for use on the Newton telescope.

Normally not Espen. You will go down with the focal ratio. For example...your newton is f5, with barlow it is f10 then. For imaging  of very bright objects like the moon or planets it makes sence, even for very small and bright planetary nebulae it can be helpful too. There a plenty of informations in internet for beginners DSO imaging Esben, pleasy try them ;)

You can use a barlow for smaller dsos like small galaxies or small planetary nebulae and like Christoph indicated planets. At f10, you will need longer exposure or many light frames to stack.
Good luck and clear skies.
