Hi,

Anyone had ever used the GSO Coma Corrector with a newtonian F4 and camera sensor size ASI1600MM?

GSO says: "Design optimized for use at f/4.5 but will work well from f/3 - f/6".

Does anyone confirm it?

Regards,
Delberson.

I have the same, under Levenhuk name, DOES not work for me - they require 57 mm distance between the matrix and coma corrector lense- nope, I changed distance to 10 mm more and 10 mm less, even 5 mm - still evident coma. I gave up, probably, due to the weight of the camera the focuser is flexing too much, or the secondary mirror is no good,  so there is no use for corrector, it makes coma ever worst.

The GSO is supposed to have 75-85mm of backfocus. Long thread about it on CN

Works fine for me, I have 600 mm focal length GSO f4 and the according KomaKorrF4 (GPU). Just needed to adjust the spacers by buying an 8mm t2 extender and a fine tuning 1mm spacer. The only thing I find not so optimal is that I have to pull out the GPU buy ca 5mm out of the OAZ. Other than that I am very happy with how it works.

Hi Frank !

I have a GSO 150/600 and a TS GPU corrector...
I don't find the good working distance... I have tried 53mm but the stars are not correct...

What is your working distance please ?

Thanks
Nicolas
