Hello everyone, I am looking for a good light pollution filter but it seems that only the ASTRONOMIK brand sells compatible filters.I would have liked a filter like OPTOLONG L-PRO or IDAS-LPS-D1 / 2.Have you seen these filters for Canon Ra ? Thank you in advance. Thomas. |

Hello Amenophis, I'am using an IDAS LPS D2 (D2=D1+ led filter) on my canon EOS 100D . The filter is inside the canon . It's a specific filter for all APS-C models I think https://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=idas+lps+d2&suchdas=OK Another way : a filter directly screwed on coma reducer (a little bit chipper and if one of these day you buy a new camera, you can keep it : not linked to a camera model ) . Just calculate backfocus (depending on where the filter is placed) The IDA-LPS-D2 for APS-C does not really change the backfocus , it is near the captor and is thinner than other filters. There is about 2 years that mine is inside the canon ... I can not do without it Clear Sky ! ;) |

Are you using a camera lens? If so, a Hoya red intensifier filter will work and I have not had reflection issues with it. if not, Optolong L-Pro or check www.cyclopsoptics.com for compatible clip filters |
