Hi, I'm looking for some information on the STC duo narrowband clip filter for canon FF. I see a lot of photos with big halos around the stars, others don't.what is this due to?This filter interests me but these halos put me off a little lolThank you. |

Yes this filter gives you halo around bright stars.

I swapped my STC duo band with L extreme , its 1000 times better. Halo's are now present only on super bright stars.

Here's what I see on brighter stars with the STC Duo Narrowband. I'm a bit bummed about the halos, but it's the only option that I have for my Fujifilm X-series cameras until I move to astro-dedicated equipment (eventually as the pennies accumulate).
