I've been investing more time into astrophotography as a hobby lately because of the quarantine. I have a sony A6000 along with the 55-210mm lens. It's not a great set up but it does the job.
I have shot M42(the Orion nebula), M45 (Pleiades star cluster) and NGC 5139(Omega Centauri) successfully in the past and am having a hard time finding new targets I can shoot.
I live in a city with Bortle 6 skies. Most nights are clear but the heavy light pollution obstructs a lot of the view near the horizon.
If you have any suggestions for targets I can have a go at under these conditions with my equipment please let me know!

Hi Rohan,
From your choice of targets I assume you're on the southern Hemisphere? Well you could do the Carina Nebula at the moment, it's large and bright and high in the sky at sunset. If you are a morning person at this time of year you could try to go for the nebulae in sagittarius, like M8 the Lagoon Nebula, M16 the Eagle nebula and M17 the Omega Nebula. But the latter might be to low from your site, depending on where you live. Apologies, I don't really know my way arround the southern skies.

Another suggestion: Try this Telescope Simulator
It allows you to enter your location and camera specs to simulate your field of view, and if you enter a target it will show you how high the target is in the sky from your location, it's great for planning!
