Hello and welcome. I have a question for everyone. I have aligned the finderscope with the main telescope on my Power Seeker 60az refractor telescope. But even I try to find the right image on the main telescope. I can't seem to determine what the problem is. I tried to adjust the screw and everything on the finderscope. I can't still get the image to the centre with the finder scope. I even looked up on the internet, and all I could do was to move the main telescope cause the thing wouldn't budge even when the finderscope was fixed, and they showed completely different things. Does anyone have any solution to this? Do I need to get a new finderscope, or what now? |

help me understand what you're saying are you saying that, no matter how much you try to adjust the screws on the finderscope, you can't align the finder with the main scope? if so, that can't be; it should be possible if your finderscope has crosshairs, it helps a lot but it will help even more if you have a crosshair reticle eyepiece for your main scope; both illuminated or just using a wire one would work then you can point the intersection of the crosshairs in your main scope, at like a tree, or tree branch and then afterwards, the same with your finderscope, by using those alignment screws this should match the center point of both of your optics and align them but I don't know if this is answering your question |
