To those interested, I've started a project with the C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS) comet because it just happens to be passing straight through a widefield FOV I framed of NGC2403 with some dark nebula mid december (perhaps this is IFN, or just dusty northern nebula?) Anyway, the comet is approaching the brightest portion of this dusty region this upcoming weekend so figured I'd share with this group.   I encourage anyone with dark skies and a fast scope to give it a shot before the moon comes up this weekend. It should make for a very interesting composition!

I expect to be continuing my imaging of ATLAS.  That is, once I get my replacement mount installed and operational this weekend.  With the news that ATLAS may be breaking up (SkyandRockets) I am really curious if I can image the coma with sufficient magnification to see if I can detect any elongation and possible multiple pieces.  I'm still hoping that it did not fragment as I would prefer to image a nice tail later in May than a bunch of faint comet pieces  8)
