Hello! Great images indeed. Congrats!

I got the filter because it is advertised as "suitable for fast systems". I use it with my RASA8 and I like what I get.

Ivan

Thanks Ivan!

Sweet images you have as well!
I was going to get the L-Extreme but the salesman I bought this one from suggested it because it give a truer star color based on his experience. I’m glad I went with it and I use it a lot.

Hello Dale,

I initially got the L-Extreme and I am quite pleased with its performance as well. I got the IDAS NBZ because someone told me that I should use my RASA at its full potential and this filter would provide this option. Honestly I am quite pleased with what I get with the NBZ as well. For sure I capture more OIII with it where with the L-Extreme everything was red... But for me it goes like this:
- NBZ for the Rasa;
- L-Extreme for everything else as it is has narrower bandpass - 7nm vs 10nm for the NBZ.

Best regards,
Ivan
