Help!  My used Celestron CGEM was acting up so I took it to the Celestron facility in Torrance 3 weeks ago.  They found all kinds of problems and were going to ship me a brand new mount!  (great company)  They had it ready to go out the next day, but that night we started the lockdown and it did not go out!  Nice timing.

Does anyone have a German EQ mount to rent me for a couple of months in the greater LA area?  HELP  I'm 69, home isolated, clear skies coming.  no mount sucks.

I just started this hobby last November and hooked for life.  Oh my ASIAIR Pro came the other day and just sitting in the box...so sad.

Totally out of the blue I just found out that my new mount shipped from Celestron yesterday and it out for delivery today.  I haven't been this thrilled since I was a kid at Christmas.

Thank You Celestron and Camera Concepts and Telescopes for all your efforts in this.

truly appreciative, john

do not know anything about CGEM, i use HEQ5 with 16kg payload, works so fine that guide graph  looks  like dead mans cardio (belt modded) i suggest to study it, to understand how it works, and only then you will find in first sight insignificant problem that really maters and with half of turn of your screw driver you will fix it

Hi John,
I am in a similar situation to you gentlemen.  I have a new mount ready to field and dead batteries at the remote observatory in the Southern Sierra Nevada's  so I am unable to do any imaging. Glad to hear your mount arrived, look forward to seeing some images.
Regards,
Dave

Hi Sigga,
There certainly there are, but a little distraction is helpful and this community and site helps provide that.
Best regards,

Hi Sigga,
Didn't think you sounded mean, I just thought it important to support some of the pandemic distractions with a little commiseration. I too have family members on the frontlines and have the utmost respect those working for our recovery. Stay safe and make images, and it is always a pleasure hearing from you...

Best regards,
Dave
