Hello! My name is Robin Onderka, I am an astrophotographer from Czech Republic. I just turned 26 today. <3 My astrophotography path started 2 years ago with some basic nightscape shots with a Nikon D3300. Even my photos were bad, I never gave up and I fell in love with astronomy and astrophotography. I purchased my star tracker at October 2019 and my modified camera at May 2020. I do deep sky astrophotography for 8 months in "trial and error" style. I would say my photos are kinda specific. I love to make that nebulosity stand out, so there is a significant star reduction in my pictures. I usually work with small number of data, around 5 to 20 minutes per object. I know this is wrong and I promise I will take more data as possible! --- My current equipment: Camera 1: Canon 6D astro-modified with Astronomik UV-IR L3 Camera 2: Canon 6D mark II stock Lens 1: Samyang 14 mm f/2.8 Lens 2: Sigma 35 mm f/1.4 art Lens 3: Samyang 135 mm f/2.0 Tracker: Skywatcher Star Adventurer Tripod: Genesis Base C5 Software: Astro Pixel Processor, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, PixInsight, Starry Stacker pack and AutoPano GiGa --- I am very new at this forum, so feel free to check my pictures, like, comment, share or do whatever you want, just make me interact, because I always love to talk about astrophotography with a person, who has same interest as me |

You have a perfect equipment and you can take beautiful pictures of the night sky of nebula with a 135 mm lens, use a light pollution filter. I have als o 2 DSLR cameras, a Canon 6 D with DDW modification and a Canon D 60a and I use Always a light pollution filter from Optolong, the L PRO. I can give you a advise: Take 60 images at ISO 800 with 2 minutes exposure time, and after take darks so much as you can and bias frames 3o or more. Before you are to go imaging take flat images in daylight when the sun is almost under the horizon. Take at least 20 flat images. Use Always the same ISO and combine all the images in DSS stacking or a another software program. Succes with imaging and show us your results. Do not look at the beautiful images of this website, each of the photographers had to learn in the past and you must be patient and ask this forum if you have problems. Kind regards, Hans Verheijen/ The Netherlands. |

Ahoj Robin! CS, Daniel |

Hans Verheijen: I'm so sorry! I didn't know there was a rule about this. There are many, many comments in other languages with images, so I assumed that in the forum it was OK. Mea culpa. I was genuinely excited to talk to someone from the Czech Republic and wanted to welcome Robin to the group. Regards, Daniel |

Thanks for answer me. Never mind, it iis amember of your group in the Czech. I undertsnad that. But when a member from the forum gives a reaction to the question of his equipment in the English language you expected that others also write in the same language. I wish you succces with imaging. |
