Hello astrophotography fellows,

I'm a member here for quite a while now, but I just found this sub-forum.
Being into astrophotography for about two years now, I still consider myself as a beginner. At the moment I try to spend not more money on astrophotography than absolutely necessary - I like the process of maxing out the equipment I already have and see how far I can get with that. And I'm not done with it yet. Well, okay, occassionally I get some new stuff, but only when I'm sure that I get better results from it. These days I'm checking combinations of modern Cmos cameras and old lenses from the 1980s for example. Up to this point in time I've only worked with open source software for processing.
I take photos from my balcony, from my garden, from dark places near my hometown, from the German Alpes and sometimes from dark spots like La Palma - mostly deep sky. Although I have no real talent for physics I learn new things on astrophotography almost every week ... ridiculous. Astrobin has helped me a lot with that issue!
Thanks for your great photos everyone!

Jo
