Dear all,

I started astrophotography about four years ago after joining Hertford Astronomy Group - nothing takes me away from the mundane day-to-day hassle like astronomy.  I started my live-event production company about 35 years ago, and as the industry has basically shut down due to Covid, I now have much more time to pursue this amazing hobby.

I still have a very long way to go in astrophotography - I might even give Pixinsight and narrowband  a go at some point, but in the meantime, I am enjoying OSC, quick captures, swearing at clouds and security lights and doing what I can from poor seeing conditions from my location!  It is amazing what one can capture from relatively basic amateur equipment and comparing my pictures with the massive telescopes on Mt Palomar 50 years ago.

Great to be part of this community.

All the best, Steve.
