| Greetings from Wisconsin! I’m brand new to Astrobin - I have an Orion xx14g Dobsonian with a long focal length of 1650mm. Does anyone have an idea of the ZWO camera that would be good for such a telescope? Don’t know if an ASI533 would work... I feel like I’m taking my high school degree at Shawshank Prison- arc/sec, filter on lenses and photoshop, stacker, dither. I feel like a dummy. I have to overcome my AZ mount- need help there too. Drowning in Wisconsin... but not alone, thanks astrobin. |

Hi Harald! https://astronomy.tools/calculators/ccd_suitability There are lots of great tools available related to AP and the above is just one of them. You can enter your exact equipment and find matches with other equipment. A bit of fun and very useful tech info. I don't think the 533 matches perfectly with your scope but you can certainly find a camera that will. scott |

| Campbell River is only a bit more than an hour from us. One my favorite things is to take the 4 lane highway up there and then drive back down the Island Highway along the shore. Lots of little pubs and places for lunch. |

Plaisance seems like it would be a nice place to relax on the river, or explore the park, but we are always on our way to somewhere when we pass through! We will have to make some time to explore next time through. My son lives in Ottawa, and we get to Tremblant from time to time, so pass by you de temps en temp. The folks at Focus are very helpful--you're in good hands with them. You are forgiven for bringing the clouds attached to any recent purchases |
