Hello Astrobin community! "Backyarders" is an astrophotography podcast aimed at beginners, enthusiasts and experts alike, sharing the stories of astrophotographers around the world. When I started astrophotography a couple of years ago, I was really struck by how much support was available from others engaged in this pursuit. This podcast is my way of giving something back. I don't have the technical expertise nor the experience of many involved in astrophotography, so I focus on the human end of the telescope. Unfortunately the episodes are only available in the English language however I welcome ideas for how we can make it multilingual and become truly accessible around the globe. The podcast receives no money through sponsorships etc and nor do I personally. I'm not a journalist but have a little experience interviewing people through past employment in management and health and aged care.
