hello everyone!
i have the cpc 1100 gps xlt telescope of celestron .i want to start astrophotography of deep sky object and im thinking to buy the hyperstar from starizona but because of its high price im considering to buy instead the wedge+focal reducer (of celestron f/6.3). is this setup with the wedge and the focal reducer will give me good results like the hyperstar? and good results for imaging deep sky object?
and the focal reducer of celestron is good? or do you suggests other focal reducer?
thank you very very much!!!

HST:

I have both a Celestron focal reducer and a HperStar for my Edge HD.  I use a wedge with an Evo mount.  Both work great but for different situations.  The HS is much better for larger objects since the field of view is so much wider. Also,  you can't beat the speed of the HS. I only use the focal reducer when imaging something very small.  I find myself using the HS much more often!

Build quality and performance for both is exceptional.

Best.
Tim
