I have recently bought a Meade etc 90 and Canon d5 camera. I want to take pictures of moon and other bodies using the camera body and telescope as a lens. Can somebody help me in guiding to resources for what and how to do and what camera settings or filters or extensions to use Thanks |

Hi Trana, welcome to this forum! I started out with an ETX 105, which is quite similar. Filters won't be necessary as an unmodified DSLR has an UV-IR cut Filter in front of the Sensor anyway. Otherwise, the process would be: Do a star alignment using the eyepiece, goto to the object you want to shoot, switch the camera+1,25" adapter for the eyepiece, refocus using liveview.
