Great quality for the price. Stays in focus and collimation can last 2+ years depending on how much you handle it.  Color is good with little need for color correction.  Pretty sharp all the way to the edge. Portable too. With reducer, flats can last months. No real entry for dust with a sealed camera. Here's my latest...

14" may not be dramatically better unless you have very steady and dark skies (21+ mag/arcsec2).

Not sure I understand your question. You need to match the CCD to the SCT for distortion at the very edge of the chip, or none at all.

Not really, I used with chip size 27x22 and the vignetting is very strong. I could not produce a perfect flat, however in the end I could fix it in PI, but with more work than usual.
