Description

The bright summer nights is arriving at my doorstep and makes deep sky imaging impossible, so this will be my last image this season.
The seeing was not very good, and the light pollution combined wit poor seeing conditions, made a strong red gradient on the image, which got a lot worse due to internal reflections in my William Optics camera rotator. This is the old version, lined with a black cloth and the cloth is not matte black.
The new version of the camera rotator is ordered from OPT. This hobby is for sure a money consuming activity🤣.
I managed to get rid of most of the red gradient with DBE, manually placing the squares in the image and use of the Photometric color calibration, but I guess I lost some details in the background in the process.
This image is the first image I used the gear as intended, doing the job all by it self while I was sleeping, hoping the bad guys is afraid of the virus and stay at home as everybody else.
