Description

NGC 2170 is a very large reflection nebula in the constellation Monoceros. It is about 2,400 light-years from Earth, and the entire nebula is about 15 light-years across. Seen from Earth, the nebula looks like a watercolor painting, also known as the winter palette
The competition material of Chilescope in 2018. In this version, I improved color grading of the Angel Nebula, removal of the greenish tint from the Dark Nebula, and application of sharpening to several bright areas.
