Ao contemplarmos a beleza desta imagem, no seu centro podemos ver duas intrigantes mas bem definidas estruturas de gás e poeira que nos fazem lembrar dois girinos cruzando uma lagoa azul. Por este motivo, o IC 410 é conhecido como a nebulosa do girino.
O IC 410 está localizado na constelação de Auriga, a cerca de 12.000 anos-luz de distância; é uma nebulosa de emissão que contém o aglomerado aberto NGC 1893, onde estrelas massivas formadas há apenas 4 milhões de anos emitem luz ultravioleta que energiza o gás na nebulosa.
Os girinos têm cerca de 10 anos-luz de comprimento e exibem belas caudas, e estima-se que sejam locais de formação de estrelas; esculpidas por vento e radiação estelar localizadas no centro do aglomerado, suas cabeças são delineadas por gás ionizado.

As we contemplate the beauty of this image, in its center we can see two intriguing but well-defined structures of gas and dust making us remember two tadpoles crossing a blue lagoon. For this reason, IC 410 is known as the Tadpole Nebula.
IC 410 is located in the constellation Auriga, about 12,000 light-years away; Is an emission nebula that contains the open cluster NGC 1893, where massive stars formed just 4 million years ago emit ultraviolet light that energizes the gas in the nebula.
Tadpoles are about 10 light-years in length and exhibit beautiful tails, and are estimated to be star formation sites; Sculpted by wind and star radiation located in the center of the cluster, their heads are delineated by ionized gas.
