Description

The last crater of the night is J. Herschel, shot with my 3x barlow with average seeing. I used the best 6% of 14,803 total frames. Processed in AutoStakertt and Registax.
The southeastern rim of J. Herschel forms part of the edge of the Mare Frigoris. In researching the crater's size, there seems to be conflicting numbers. Wikipedia has it listed at 95 miles in diameter, while Moon Globe HD has it listed at 102 miles in diameter. The crater is just under a mile at its deepest point.
I uploaded rev B with an extra sharpening filter that I think really brings out Montes Recti at the far right-hand side of the image.
