Description

Here's an image of LBN 576, also known as Abell 85 and the "Popped Balloon Nebula".  This is probably one of the FAINTEST targets I've ever tried to image, but I figured I'd go ahead and post it since I took 235 subs @240s in Ha, Oiii, and Sii over 5 nights with my NP127is.
This faint supernova remnant is located in the constellation Cassiopeia at a distance of 9,780 light-years with a diameter of around 98 light-years and is approximately 10,000 years old.
This was not only a computer processing challenge....it took 3hrs 18m just to do WBPP,  since each sub is 122MB with my ZWOASI 6200MM, but also a Pixinsight processing challenge, due to the faintness of the target.
Anyway, hope ya like it!
Tom

Title: Abell 85 Collaboration

Description: I wasn't happy with my processing of this data, so I reached out to Shawn Nielsen to help with it. This is mostly Shawn's processing (thanks Shawn).....he brought out much more of the Oiii and I just tweaked the star color and a couple other things.
Anyway, thanks again Shawn and hope ya like this revision!
