Description

NGC 1763 is a star cluster and hydrogen-rich diffuse nebula in the constellation Dorado in the Large Magellanic Cloud about 163,000 light-years away. It was discovered by James Dunlop in 1826 and is also commonly known as the Bean Nebula.
